Emma, Henry and I went to the bookstore yesterday to get started on our summer reading program. They both picked out some great books. Henry is really enjoying the Stink series and I am just thrilled that Emma is reading Nancy Drew as these books were some of my favorites growing up. She also found Mandy which looks like it will be a wonderful book.
I love the fruits and vegetables that we are able to eat in the summer. My mother-in-law and father-in-law have an amazing garden in upstate New York. They sent us back with so many cucumbers and zucchinis. We have been busy making salads, muffins and vegetable platters. Here is our dinner last night!!!
