Irene...A Golden Pond Biography

Henry's class had the amazing opportunity to visit out local assisted living facility called Golden Pond. Each child was paired with a classmate and they had to interview one of the residents. Henry and Keifer were lucky to have the opportunity to speak with Irene.

She was so happy to hear what they wrote about her. She kissed each one of their hands. Henry did a wonderful job speaking- took his time and looked up at the audience.

Well Done!

Easter 2011...a very late post

This Easter we had both of our families out to our house like last year. We were only missing my sister and her family (they are in Colorado). The weather was not cooperative so therefore I have very FEW shots.

My mother and Hugo left early due to Hugo coming down with what looked like the flu. They didn't want to get anyone sick so they left to return to New York. So sad to see them leave.

The kids all had a great time going on their Easter egg hunt throughout the house....lots of candy, 5 golden eggs, and a basket of books and toys for everyone. So much fun!!!

The sun finally did come out and I was able to get some pictures of the cousins....they are just so cute together!!

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Henry's Last Day with his favorite teacher Mrs. Marzillli

Today was Henry's last day with Mrs. Marzilli before she leaves for maternity leave.

Henry had to get this card for Mrs. Marzilli- he saved up his money and spent about an hour really putting all of the "finishing touches" on it for delivery.

(in case she needs help with names- love that he included his own!)

The last sentence on the top is "Encourage your son to read." LOVE THAT!
