Happy 8th Birthday Henry!!

Happy Birthday to my little guy! We are so blessed to have you in our lives. You add so much enjoyment, laughter and thoughtfulness to our lives.

WE LOVE YOU HENRY!!

Healthy Luncheon

This is my healthy lunch bunch..... such a nice time to get a few friends together to have a healthy lunch and talk about interesting topics. This past time was great Christmas gift ideas..... thank you ladies!!!

Makeovers and New England Weather

As the weather starts to change, my focus always moves to indoor home improvements. Our solarium is one room that was kind of thrown together when we moved in..... we are changing the look. We had bookcases and a window seat built-in. I have always wanted a window seat since I was a little girl....such a cool place to read. I am in the process on finding the perfect cushion for this new space.

Love it!!!

Old Room (pink is a color of the past)

We told Emma when she turned 10 that she could change her room. Well, 10 is here and so is a new color scheme.......

At first I was blown away but it has grown on me over the past few weeks. We now just need to get the accent pieces.

Check out this sky....

Check out this snow....I am not ready!!!

A trip down Memory Lane

My favorite movie growing up was Father of the Bride. I could watch this movie over and over again laughing and crying at all of the same spots. I absolutely fell in love with this home as it represented a "perfect" family. I now know that there are no "perfect" families but the relationship between the daughter and father was magical to me.

I am traveling back to my hometown this weekend and I always get a little nostalgic when I start heading down the Pike. Seeing my family and friends is so wonderful while visiting my old stomping grounds.

So excited!!! Have a great weekend.

Thankful Tree

I love this tree in our yard. The red color is magnificent.....

Last year, I was reading a blog and found this wonderful idea for our family. November is our "THANKFUL" month. We fill up the tree with different colored leaves each day (everyone has to add a new leaf everyday saying something that they are thankful for) until Thanksgiving. It looks so amazing when the tree is covered in leaves with thoughts of thankfulness. I will take a picture at the end on November.

(see how I am not crafty) This tree needs some leaves to cover it up.

Halloween Happenings

We had a wonderful Halloween this year even though it was quite cold outside. The kids decorated their pumpkins and loved getting into costume. Even Max did his part!!

Max is ready to head out for some treats.
