Easter 2011...a very late post

This Easter we had both of our families out to our house like last year. We were only missing my sister and her family (they are in Colorado). The weather was not cooperative so therefore I have very FEW shots.

My mother and Hugo left early due to Hugo coming down with what looked like the flu. They didn't want to get anyone sick so they left to return to New York. So sad to see them leave.

The kids all had a great time going on their Easter egg hunt throughout the house....lots of candy, 5 golden eggs, and a basket of books and toys for everyone. So much fun!!!

The sun finally did come out and I was able to get some pictures of the cousins....they are just so cute together!!

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Easter 2010.....Blissful

We had such an amazing Easter!! It was so nice that John's whole family and my mom and Hugo make the trek to Massachusetts so that we could all be together. We did miss the St. Amants!!! The weather was perfectly perfect everyday- a very nice welcome to Spring.

Favorite things.....Easter egg hunt, playing Life, playing wiffle ball, the food, laughs, water gun fights, walks, playing basketball, having a "sleep over", the Bachs coming back, sitting in the warm sun, using John's new grill, using the Margaritaville Maker, Tristan's birthday cake, seeing Diary of a Whimpy Kid, watching all of the cousins playing together, and many more. My favorite thing was just having everyone together!!!

The kids all had a blast coloring eggs and they were just beautiful.

Easter is on it's way....

YaYa and Hugo arrived yesterday and the kids were so excited to see them. We had a wonderful night which included (bug) stew for dinner. The kids thought it was so funny to find the fake bugs in their meal..... we had a few laughs. Hugo taught Emma and Henry how to play the game Life. I loved that game growing up but it seems as though they have changed it up a bit and in the process have made it much more complicated. So a big thank you goes out to Hugo for setting it up and teaching the kids. They love playing it!!!

We are also very excited for John's family to arrive tomorrow. The eggs are all ready to be colored by 4 very excited kids. Henry said that the Easter Bunny should already be "preparing" for Saturday night.....I bet he is!!!
